Sophia Alvarez

Sophia Alvarez is a senior pursuing majors in psychology and education, schooling, & society (ESS) with a concentration in learning sciences. She also has minors in philosophy and classics. After taking Dr. McNeil’s Cognitive Science Goes to School course and working with TutorND, she joined the CLAD lab to advocate for evidence-based instructional practices as we work toward a more equitable vision of education. After graduation, she hopes to teach with ACE Teaching Fellows and continue working toward equity in the education system.
